| Rockville Bank Earns 5-Star Superior Rating |
Rockville Bank Earns 5-Star Superior Rating for 19th Consecutive Quarter From BAUERFINANCIAL
APRIL 2010: In these tough economic times, it is important to know there are financial institutions that are strong, secure and ready and able to assist their communities. Rockville Bank of Rockville, Conn.is one such institution dedicated to getting Main Street back on its feet. Since it exhibits overall financial superiority in such areas as capital adequacy, delinquent loan levels, and profitability, BauerFinancial, Inc., Coral Gables, Florida is proud to bestow its highest 5-star Superior rating upon Rockville Bank. In fact, this marks the 19th consecutive quarterthat Rockville Bank has earned this distinction.
"The unstable economic picture, both on Wall Street and on Main Street, makes it all the more important to recognize those financial institutions that are strong and stable," remarks Karen L. Dorway, President of BauerFinancial. "The institutions that played by the rules and did not compromise their lending standards are the same institutions that stand ready to help build the economy back up. Rockville Bank is an excellent example of this community spirit."
Established in 1858, Rockville Bank serves the community banking needs of its neighbors and friends. It now operates through 21 branches and can be found on the internet at www.rockvillebank.com. The half-branch is Rockville Bank's first "in-school" location which opened in South Windsor High School in South Windsor, Conn. in September 2009. This branch serves only that high school's students, faculty and administrative staff and is not open to the general public. The goal of this Rockville Bank and South Windsor High School partnership is to help increase students'understanding of financial services and promote money management skills, essential for their success during and after high school.
BauerFinancial, Inc., Coral Gables, Florida, the nation's leading independent bank and credit union rating and research firm, has been reporting on and analyzing the performance of U.S. banks and credit unions since 1983. No institution pays for its rating, nor can it be eluded. Consumers may obtain star-ratings by visiting www.bauerfinancial.com. |
