Windsor Locks - Raffia Road Service Center of Enfield is celebrating its 10th Year Anniversary at a Business After Hours event for the North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce. The BAH is scheduled for Thursday, May 20 from 5:30-7:PM.

East Granby - The East Granby Chamber of Commerce and Copper Hill Golf Club host a Spring BAH on Tuesday, May 25th from 4:30-7:30 at the Copper Hill Golf Club, East Granby.

Paul Banks, PGA Professional and owner of Copper Hill Golf Academy, will provide a "Chip and Put" from 4:30-5:15 weather permitting.

The BAH will be at the Copper Hill Grill from 5:30-7:30. Refreshments will be served. Don't miss EGCC famous door prizes. You have to be there to win!

Suffield Familiarization Tour
Based on the success of our Suffield Familiarization Tour from last fall, we are going to have another fam tour of Planned Development Industrial Park land (light ind./office/distribution) in the vicinity of Bradley International Airport, Industrial land off Route 159, and a mixed-use opportunity in our Town Center.
 
Wednesday, May 26
Bus Leaves: Suffield Country Club, 341 N. Main Street, at 10:30 a.m.
 
The tour will be followed by lunch at the Suffield Country Club at noon (sponsored by the First National Bank of Suffield) and then a round of golf (9 holes shot-gun start at 1 p.m.). 
 
We are inviting Realtors, state and regional ED professionals, utility reps, builders/developers, architects and engineers. 
Also, come learn about the new Bradley Airport Development Zone that just passed the State Legislature!

QuickBooks is a great time saving tool if used correctly, but most small business users are not taking full advantage of all the tools in this powerful piece of software. In a tough economy, knowing how your business is performing is more important than ever. This workshop will cover many QuickBook features to help you run your business more succesfully, while spending less time in front of the computer. There will also be a questions and answers session.

Kristin L Ingram, CPA is a Certified Publc Accountant, licensed in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She is also a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and Adjunct Professor at Central Connecticut State University.
