Thrills, Chills and Laughter in The Suffield Players Communicating Doors

Alan Ayckburn s inventive comedy-thriller to be presented weekends Feb 18 " March 6

Suffield, CT

Check into London s Regal Hotel for a night of astounding plot twists as The Suffield Players present Alan Ayckbourn s intricate comic thriller Communicating Doors, weekends February 18 to March 6.

Poopay, a dominatrix from the future, is hired to spend some time with an old man at the Regal Hotel. But the old man s reason for hiring Poopay leads to an increasingly bizarre night of plot twists. Poopay stumbles into a decades-old murder plot and, via a unique set of hotel doors, accidentally travels back in time, meeting the two murder victims. They all join in a race back and forth through time in an attempt to rewrite history and prevent their own violent ends. This cleverly contrived thriller by the British master of farcical comedy has delighted London and New York audiences since its premier in 1994.

Communicating Doors performance dates are February 18, 19, 20, 26, 27, March 5 & 6 at Mapleton Hall, 1305 Mapleton Ave., Suffield, CT. Doors open at 7 p.m., curtain at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 for the first Thursday and $17 thereafter with discounts for students and seniors. Call for tickets 1-800-289-6148 or 860-668-0837 or order online at www.suffieldplayers.org.
